I had such a great time at the Women's Council of REALTORS® Tacoma-Pierce County 2026 kickoff on January 14! The event was held at Pioneer Pavilion in Puyallup, Washington, and I got to meet lots of local real estate professionals while sharing one of my FAVORITE marketing topics.

A big thank you to the Women's Council of REALTORS® Tacoma-Pierce County for having me. The Women's Council of REALTORS® is a nationwide organization dedicated to helping women in real estate grow as professionals and leaders. The Tacoma-Pierce County network brings local REALTORS® and industry partners together through educational events, networking opportunities, and a supportive community focused on learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

I love seeing organizations like this create opportunities for real estate professionals to connect, support one another, and learn together. It was such a treat to be part of it.

Back in My Hometown!

Something that made this event extra special was getting to return to Puyallup, where I grew up.

I have so many great memories of downtown Puyallup from my childhood. I grew up going to the Puyallup Farmers' Market at Pioneer Park, so this area has always held a special place in my heart.

Unmute Yourself: It's Time to Shine on Social Media

For this event, I presented "Unmute Yourself: It's Time to Shine on Social Media!", which is one of my absolute favorite topics to teach.

The whole idea behind this class is simple: The clients you LOVE working with are already out there. But they can't find you if you keep hiding.

You just have to give people the OPPORTUNITY to find you. And when you're posting the same generic, cookie-cutter content as everyone else, how are people supposed to get to know what makes YOU different?

We talked about some of the best social media formats for getting more personal, how to use them effectively, and content ideas that actually start conversations and create opportunities for connection. We also talked about something that's SO important when it comes to showing up authentically: deciding what you want to share about yourself.

Being authentic doesn't mean you have to share every detail of your personal life. You get to decide what you're comfortable putting out there while still giving potential clients a chance to get to know you. When you show up authentically and stop hiding behind cookie-cutter content, you don't have to chase business… you attract it.

Thank You, Women's Council of REALTORS® Tacoma-Pierce County!

A HUGE thank you to Jana Ross, Victoria Stoughton, and Alyssa Ulrich for inviting me to speak.

I had such a wonderful time meeting everyone, connecting with fellow real estate professionals, and sharing a topic that I love talking about. And getting to do all of that back in my hometown made it even more special.
